Measuring and reducing our carbon footprint is a top priority for us.  We are members of the Tourism Innovation Group (TIG) and co-opted to the Sustainability Forum.

Key actions to date include:

• Designing a highly efficient (optional) roof heater for the terrace.  Our radiant tube heater is suitable for outdoors as it doesnt warm the air, instead it radiates heat at the objects (and people) within the terrace. Our heater produces less than one tenth of the Co2 produced by a medium sized car journeying the 50 miles (80 km)
• The terrace is manufactured entirely in the UK (75% in Scotland), reducing the carbon miles associated with overseas manufacturing.
• All components of the terrace can be (and are) recycled.
